Location/Venue: Pre-reservation arrangements have been negotiated for "IES Class of '65" at Four Points Sheraton Sunnyvale, 1250 Lakeside Drive, Sunnyvale, CA 94085-4010.
Rooms at discounted rates of $65/night with 2 double beds and $70/night with 2 queen beds are available for the event. Call them up at 1-888-627-8347 before June 6 and quote "IES Reunion 2003" to avail of these rates.
This is also the venue for our formal dance on July 19.
Food:
There's no need for us to check the yellow pages or Adolfo's state-of-the-art PDA for the nearest chow place. All lunches and dinners have been pre-ordered at a discounted rate, courtesy of George, our Hotel and Restaurant Consultant.
Program:
The program is semi-open as you can see but the essentials have been thought of by The Crew for us so we have something to look forward to everyday.
Finances:
Now, this is where we need to do something - $100/person for those arriving on July 17 and participating in all activities or $50/person for those attending the Gala Night only is all that is needed.
The inclusive fee of $100 per person includes all the food in the hotel and picnic, and the prizes. The fee gets reduced by $25 per person also if you or any of your family members are unable to show up at Henry's or at the picnic. Thus, if you are a family of 4 and everybody goes to the picnic but your 2 kids opt out of Henry's and the Gala night, your total fees will be $250.
Send your cheque or money order to Norma (we can't tell you her address here. Check the Reunion flyer instead) no later than June 15. Also, call her up ASAP to indicate if you and your family are coming.
Norma will take care of the Income-Expenditure Report at the end of the reunion and will roll-over any savings to the next reunion.
